Super Bad
"Superbad is a web art installation created by Ben Benjamin in 1997.
The site consists of a veritable maze of inter-linked visual, conceptual "subprojects" ranging from two-tone and technical-looking to wacky, colorful, and even bizarre."

Jodi.org
"Jodi, or jodi.org, is a collective of two internet artists: Joan Heemskerk and Dirk Paesmans

In "No Fun" Franco Mattes simulated his suicide in a public webcam-based chat room. Thousands of random people watched while he was hanging from the ceiling, swinging slowly, for hours.

I'm thinking of making my own. i'd like to base it apon the concept of the lonely-vain feeling that i feel the internet gives me. umm.. i should write alot more about what i mean. later. as i explore it more. there is an artwork i did for a friend that might help. but i never took a picture of it before i gave it away. it said "your all so vain-But i Guess I'm not so different" on it. based apon an outsider art style.

Above is an artwork (that i have seen in life)
by the New York artist WeeGee

But Then Again:
"The problem with net art is that it is so opaque. The problem with net art is that it is so obvious. The problem with net art is that not everyone can see it. The problem with net art is that it takes too long. The problem with net art is that it's ephemeral. The problem with net art is that it's too expensive. The problem with net art is that anyone can make it. The problem with net art is no one supports it. The problem with net art is that it is being usurped. The problem with net art is that it's boring. The problem with net art is that it's too challenging. The problem with net art is all those plug-ins. The problem with net art is that it is so reliant on industry standards. The problem with net art is that it's old hat. The problem with net art is that it's too new. The problem is that there is no great net art."
